How to Keep Yourself Busy During the Holidays While at Home

Hello everyone! I am very excited to announce that I have my very own blog! My lifestyle blog will include tips on how keep motivated and everything else to do with life.
Happy New Year! Finally 2021! We made it. I hope everyone is having a fantastic start to the year and lets all hope it'll be better than the last one.
The topic that I'll be discussing today is how to keep busy during the holidays. I decided to create this blog post because I've been finding it hard to keep busy (and motivated) while at home so I hope me writing this and sharing some of the things I have been doing will help to keep other people busy.
Before I get started I would like to remind people that it is okay to be a little unproductive especially during these difficult times. So please keep that in mind when reading this post.
WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING
During my holiday I have spent many hours on casting sites looking for acting gigs (as I am an aspiring actress) its been extremely hard and I have yet to find any jobs. I am however busy trying to get into an agency and am busy learning a monologue and trying to write a motivation, I am searching for a recent photograph of myself and coming up with an introductory video. I have been spending some time with friends although due to South Africa going on to level 3 lockdown (again!) it will be back to video calls. I have occasionally done some workouts and I mean OCCASIONALLY, like hardly ever. I need to change that. I spend time on my phone and make and edit some videos which I send to my sister since I am very interested in starting my own YouTube channel some time in the future. That is some of the things I have been doing but enough of me lets get into what you guys can do.
1. WRITING
Writing is a very creative project to start and will definitely keep you busy. You don't even have to write a book or essay you could also journal. 2. LISTEN TO PODCASTS
Lately I have been listening to many podcasts mainly about acting and motivational podcasts. I find that when I am doing tasks like washing the dishes or any sort of cleaning it helps to make the task less boring. I listen to podcasts on Spotify but there are many more apps you can listen on.
3. START A NEW HOBBY
Starting a new hobby can be quite fun and exciting. Or even starting something new like a YouTube channel or a blog like I did.
4. EXERCISE
Exercise is something that we should all do daily or at least weekly. Putting it into you routine can help you to keep fit and healthy. It's something that will keep you busy and you'll feel really good afterwards.
5. CLEANING
I know I know. It's not the most exciting thing to do but lets be honest we all have that one cupboard that we haven't touched for months (or maybe even years!) now's the time to do it!
You might even find a few things you've been looking for for ages and then you have space for new things in your life.
